Eveyone is having a personalised website. So, I thought why not me!!So, here Iam , taking my first few steps in the web world.


I was born in Jorhat, in the lap of a beauty called Assam on the 8th of February, 1984. My dad is a scientist in Regional Research laboratory, Jorhat and my mother is a scientist in Tocklai Experimental station, Jorhat. My sis is six years elder and is a software professional.

Right.

Right then, I was saying that I am a weirdo, that's what my friends called me through school.School!Ok, I studied in Carmel School Jorhat till the tenth standard, and did the next two of studying(?) in K.V ONGC. I was elected the School captain in Carmel. Well, people seemed to have liked me. Why???

I beleive I was good....

After that I shifted to Delhi with bag and baggage to get a first hand view of the crazy world around . Great place, this Delhi is, I must say! It made a toughie(he he he) out a fragile creature like me. Thanks to all who made my life so miserable out here. Anyway, I joined a college in Delhi University, took up a subject I had no clue about ( I often do things like that) and topped DU in that( Sociology).

Ok, then what was the next question. Entrances of course, plus some touring around the country, all alone, to places I had never been before. Thanks to my stay in the ruff and tuff capital.

Finally I landed up in Times School Of Journalism, The Times Group's in-house training institute. Great place. Great learning. Loads of assignments, tonnes of scoldings, and gallons of hope.That's the current state of affairs in my world at present.

Regarding me as a person, I am what they call is impulsive, unpredictable and emotional. Not to loyalty, that's supposedly my trademark..... Friends and family mean the world to me. I am almost always saturated with friends, but suddenly I might disappear into some recluse.

You know what, I am enjoying talking to you.(I like people too soon and as predicted, often land in trouble...!)

In my free time, you will see me surfing the net, browsing through the New York Times.

Or, I will be loking for award winning stories in Pulitzer.org. (You see, I am studying to e a journalist).If I have plenty of time, I will surf the news channels' sites , particularly NDTV.comNDTV.com.

Sulekha.com is another favourite hangout point for me.
